Tahbilk is one of Australia’s most iconic family-owned wineries known for its old-world charm. It's a place where family and friendship have come together for over 160 years to enjoy exceptional award-winning wines that stay true to traditions. 

 

 

 

Located just 90 minutes from Melbourne, our Estate has beautiful grounds with sheltered trees, views out to the vines, and a restaurant with a curated menu overlooking the stunning wetlands.

Ceremony

The Citrus Orchard 

 

The Citrus Orchard is located between the Tahbilk Estate Restaurant and the historic Cellar Yard. It's a central spot for guests to mingle and enjoy the dappled shade and views of the vines and an ideal location for the marriage ceremony.

Celebration Hour

Guests can enjoy the grounds of Tahbilk whilst the wedding party sets off for photos before the reception commences.

 

Grazing Table

 

Each Reception option includes a grazing table for the post-ceremony celebration with local artisan cheeses, olives, almonds and crackers. 

 

Pop-up bar 

 

Your guests will be able to enjoy a selection of Tahbilk wines as they take in the beautiful vistas of Orchard Gardens and its surroundings.

Tahbilk Estate Restaurant

We offer a tailored menu focusing on locally sourced produce matched to Tahbilk wines.

 

Our food is about bringing people together to celebrate within the backdrop of the beautiful Tahbilk Wetlands.

  

You will have a dedicated Wedding Coordinator to help with planning and ensure your day goes smoothly. The coordinator will assist with setup and pack down, coordinate your suppliers on the day, and answer any questions.

The Underground Cellars 

The historic 1860 and 1875 Cellars are iconic photo locations at Tahbilk Estate, showing off our old-world charm. 

Located under the Tahbilk Cellar Door, the underground cellars set a dramatic backdrop for some beautiful wedding party photographs.

 

The Tahbilk Tower and Cellar Yard

The Cellar Yard has become a creative space to enjoy. You can take advantage of the rich reds and large timber doors of historical buildings of the Len Evans Museum and the Cathedral, as well as a secluded jetty by the water's edge and the timeless workers cottages.

 

The Long Bridge & Wetlands 

Take advantage of the tabilk~tabilk walking trails with a popular outlook on the Long Bridge. It is a historical landmark in the heart of Tahbilk, showcasing amazing views out over the water and into the wetlands beyond.

 

An Eco Cruise boat is also available for up to 30 guests for an additional fee.

Step into a hidden oasis in Victoria where the natural landscape blends to complement a rich winemaking heritage. An easy day trip from Melbourne (90 minutes), Shepparton (40 minutes), Bendigo (60 minutes) - the list goes on! Established in 1860 and purchased by the Purbrick family in 1925, Tahbilk captures the hearts and minds of visitors.
