Intense citrus and floral bouquet, mellow and textural driven acidity with a delectable underlying honeyed character on the palate.

    About this winei

    Enjoy Now to 2024/2026
As with Marsanne, Riesling is a white varietal with a well-recognised ability to develop additional character and complexity with time in the bottle and, whilst forever in Marsanne"s imposing shadow at Tahbilk, our Estate Riesling releases over the years have consistently exhibited a similar longevity to that of Marsanne. It is still early days for our latest "Museum Release" Riesling but the signs are all there.
Ripe and full with citrus and floral aromatics, the crisp, youthful acidity signature to Tahbilk Riesling releases has begun to mellow and we are seeing a more textural wine with buttered toast and honey characters now revealing themselves.
Delightful drinking with soft-shell crab and tarragon sauce or a seared tuna steak.

"Pale straw with a vibrant green tinge; a burst of citrus blossom, lemon/lime juice and green papaya, chalky texture and puckering lemon sorbet acidity to finish. Just the finish snaps short."
    Jane Faulkner | www.winecompanion.com.au (May 2017)
